New spelling words are given each Monday

For parents: the basic homework schedule for homeroom is as follows:

  • Monday- Spelling
  • Tuesday- Math
  • Wednesday- Writing
  • Thursday - math and spelling test study
  • Every evening should include at least a half hour of sustained reading.

Period 1 ...Room 32

9:00 - 9:40 am

Using TinkerPlots, open the file "100 Cats". Answer the questions in the file. Add your name and a picture of a cat in the file. Save the file for marking when your teacher returns.

If you finish one file, please open the file "Dinosaurs" in the Data and demos folder. Answer the questions in the same manenr as above.

 


Period 2 ...Room 32

English 9:40 - 10:10 am

Period 3 ...Room 32

 

Computer Buddies 10:25 - 11:05 am

 

Take up Current events and spelling homework.




Period 4 ...Room 32

Geography 11:05 - 11:45 am

We will draw and label basic maps showing plate techtonics and volcano activity under the ocean.


12:45 - 1:35 pm

9:00 - 9:40 am
9:40 - 10:20 am


Period 5 and 6 ...Room 207

In the Computer lab today. Students may use the time to complete the assignment and submit it for marking. Students who are finished may start the next technology project, shown in the Assignment page.

Assignment Part Two
Media CD Collage

Students will have enough familiarity with Photoshop from last year to proceed with the CD/DVD cover assignment. Students who need extra help, may visit the Basic assignment page. for basic lessons about combining two pictures.
