Writing:
Create the graphic novel of
the story of how their family came to Canada. Pages may be
downloaded from the sidebar on the left, or are available
in the class. Please tell your story using the conventions
discussed in class. Use establishing shots, text bubbles,
author's voice and other techniques to tell the story effectively.
The
criteria is listed below:

- have
at least 3 elements of dialog between characters. This might
be 3 conversations where the characters take turns speaking.
- tell
the story of how your family came to Canada. This may be
a story from long ago, or it may be recent. You will have
to choose which elements to include and which to leave out.
- Use
a minimum of 2 graphic novel pages and a maximum of 4 graphic
novel pages.
- You
may use the blank templates downloadable on the left, or
you may choose to create your own boxes.
