Spelling word homework for Monday: Spelling sentences for five of the words. Definitions for all ten words. Please include your source for the definitions. These should be written in your new language notebook, or kept in your language binder.

History: Writing in role from the point of view of First Nations and European explorers. P 17, #1 - in the textbook.

Please complete any outstanding homework from earlier this week. As always, please read for at least one half hour, as we will be continuing reading journals.

Students must choose a new poem for memorisation. This month's selections may be found here <Poetry Secundus>

For parents: the basic homework schedule for homeroom is as follows:

Monday- Spelling
Tuesday- Math
Wednesday- Writing
Thursday - math and spelling test study
Every evening should include at least a half hour of sustained reading.
