New spelling words given Monday  This is week 3 of the October words.

For parents: the basic homework schedule for homeroom is as follows:

  • Monday- Spelling
  • Tuesday- Math
  • Wednesday- Writing
  • Thursday - math and spelling test study
  • Every evening should include at least a half hour of sustained reading.

Period 1 ...Room 32

 9:00 - 9:40 am

Simple math test with algebraic problems.

 

Period 2 ...Room 32

 English 9:40 - 10:10 am

Spelling test, and writing journals.

Period 3 ...Room 32

 

 Computer Buddies 10:25 - 11:05 am

Today we will explore using Google Translate with your buddy.

Using the English phrases from your little buddy's teacher, help them translate the words into French.



Period 4 ...Room 32

 English 11:05 - 11:45 am

We will take up the work from yesterday.

 

12:45 - 1:35 pm

9:00 - 9:40 am
9:40 - 10:20 am


Period 5 and 6 ...Room 207

Grade eight students: Begin the gaming assignment. Please visit the Assignment page <Click here to view> for the task.

Please try to annotate a single script. Mr. Winship will check to see if you understand the process on Monday. Look at the script annotation examples and the success criteria for the game.
