Scratch is an educational programming language that allows people of any experience, background and age to experiment with the concepts of fully versatile computer programming by snapping together visual programming blocks to control images, music and sound.

If you are doing this in class, the slideshow will be on display. You do not need to download the show.

•Using only these 8 blocks, create a project in which something surprising happens to a monkey.

Read the slides until you get to the 8 Blocks challenge.

Using the eight blocks, create a script in which something surprising happens to a monkey.

When you have done this, close the Powerpoint and go to the next step.
