New spelling words given Monday  This is week 2 of the September words.

For parents: the basic homework schedule for homeroom is as follows:

  • Monday- Spelling
  • Tuesday- Math
  • Wednesday- Writing
  • Thursday - math and spelling test study
  • Every evening should include at least a half hour of sustained reading.

Design and Tech: All students have been given Design and Tech forms. These need to be returned befoe we can begin to build in the shop.

Math questions homework were assigned yesterday.

Reading homework: read for at leats a half an hour. We will be writing about our books in class, producing a reading reflection.

We will consolidate skills using integers and learn how to

add and subtract positive and negative integers.

We will use algebra tiles to accomplish this.
