New spelling words given Monday  This is week 3 of the September words.

For parents: the basic homework schedule for homeroom is as follows:

  • Monday- Spelling
  • Tuesday- Math
  • Wednesday- Writing
  • Thursday - math and spelling test study
  • Every evening should include at least a half hour of sustained reading.

1. List the properties of living things.
2. Name five things that are living (biotic) and five that are non-living (abiotic)
3. Is fire abiotic or biotic? Explain your reasoning.

Please study for your tests:

Spelling test tomorrow

Math algebra test tomorrow.

If you did not complete your reading reflection today, please finish it for homework.

Students may continue to work on the classic Four Fours problem, if they wish.
