New spelling words are given each Monday

For parents: the basic homework schedule for homeroom is as follows:

  • Monday- Spelling
  • Tuesday- Math
  • Wednesday- Writing
  • Thursday - math and spelling test study
  • Every evening should include at least a half hour of sustained reading.

Spelling word homework for Monday: Spelling sentences for three of the words. Definitions for all ten words. Please include your source for the definitions. These should be written in your new language notebook, or kept in your language binder.

Oral poetry recitations are due now.

Thank you to the first three volunteers for poetry recitation. After these people have recited their poetry, We will continue down the list. I have generated the list randomly, however, if you wish to volunteer, you may recite earlier than your stated position.
