New spelling words given Monday  This is week 4 of the November words.

For parents: the basic homework schedule for homeroom is as follows:

  • Monday- Spelling
  • Tuesday- Math
  • Wednesday- Writing
  • Thursday - math and spelling test study
  • Every evening should include at least a half hour of sustained reading.

Period 1 Math ...Room 32

We will learn how to develop formula for the area of any bounded shape, using Pick's rule. Click here to visit the web page with an interactive Geoboard using Pick's Rule.

We will take up yesterday's writing assignment about perseverance

The purpose of writing in role is to empathise with the newcomers to Canada or New France.

We will learn how to write with quills and fountain pens for our writing in role letters.

Grade 8 : Students have SketchUp models to complete for tomorrow. Please use this time wisely to to complete the 3D model of your maze. Refer to the Assignment Page to find the drawings you need to print.

Grade 7: Students will be given time to use Scratch Programming language software. Links to learning Scratch may be found on the Computer page. The new assignment and deadline is now posted on the Assignment Page.
