New spelling words given Monday  This is week 3 of the October words.

For parents: the basic homework schedule for homeroom is as follows:

  • Monday- Spelling
  • Tuesday- Math
  • Wednesday- Writing
  • Thursday - math and spelling test study
  • Every evening should include at least a half hour of sustained reading.

Students must also commit to the poem they will recite for this round of poetry recitation.

Reading Journals: Mr. Winship will be marking reading journals, CASI testing and History dialogues. Please make sure you hand in all your work..



 



Poetry homework: We will begin recitation of poetry next week. Please choose your poem from the list Poetry Secundus . We will take volunteers beginning Tomorrow.

Spelling word homework for Monday: Spelling sentences for five of the words. Definitions for all ten words. Please include your source for the definitions. These should be written in your new language notebook, or kept in your language binder.
