Design and Tech: Google SketchUp in the computer lab.

This is a working day in the Lab. Students will work to diagram their personal vehicle.

Grade Seven students must produce a single simple model, of their vehicle. Students must measure their own vehicle and produce an accurate representation of the model. This will include a wheel and axle.

Grade Eight students must make a model of a standard maze. Students may choose the simple maze or the more complicated object; a hydraulic syringe.

Poetry homework: We will begin recitation of poetry next week. Please choose your poem from the list Poetry Secundus . We will take volunteers beginning Tomorrow.

Spelling word homework for Monday: Spelling sentences for five of the words. Definitions for all ten words. Please include your source for the definitions. These should be written in your new language notebook, or kept in your language binder.

For parents: the basic homework schedule for homeroom is as follows:

Monday- Spelling
Tuesday- Math
Wednesday- Writing
Thursday - math and spelling test study
Every evening should include at least a half hour of sustained reading.

Friday's Spelling test should come home on Friday to share with parents.

Friday's math test should come home on Monday to share with parents.
