New spelling words given Monday

For parents: the basic homework schedule for homeroom is as follows:

  • Monday- Spelling
  • Tuesday- Math
  • Wednesday- Writing
  • Thursday - math and spelling test study
  • Every evening should include at least a half hour of sustained reading.

9:40 - 10:20 am

Bottle rocket experiments today. We will launch a series of modified rockets. Each student should have a printed chart recording the distances traveled and the modifications before each launch. Students may modify the air volume, water volume, launch angle and aerodynamic modifications to each rocket.

A follow up lesson recording the results of the rocket launches The Pythagoras switch will also be assigned.
