Spelling word homework for Monday: Spelling sentences for five of the words. Definitions for all ten words. Please include your source for the definitions. These should be written in your new language notebook, or kept in your language binder.

Students must choose a single poem to memorise for the month of September. It's never too early to start practising. Follow this link for a selection of poems to memorise. ---> Poetry Primus

For parents: the basic homework schedule for homeroom is as follows:

Monday- Spelling
Tuesday- Math
Wednesday- Writing
Thursday - math and spelling test study
Every evening should include at least a half hour of sustained reading.

Friday's Spelling test should come home on Friday to share with parents.

Friday's math test should come home on Monday to share with parents.
